I was rasied mostly in Putnam and Montgomery co., Indiana, most of my ancestors as far back as 1840 lived not five miles from where I lived, in Putnam Co. Indiana. My siblings still lives in that same area. Other ancestors lived in the Hendricks Co, Indiana, Nebraska, illinois, oklahoma and California areas, with a few scattered here and there.
I have been researching both family and professional genealogy for almost 30 years. I have published several genealogy books and sell them to Libraries and individuals all over the US. What started out to be a trip or two with my sister in law, became my passion. Cemeteries seems to be on the top of my passion. I enjoy walking the cemeteries, it is just so serene. In my lifetime I have come across some really exciting and interesting things. One of the BEST things I have found without even looking was, I found a half brother. I was 52 years old when I found out about him, what a BLESSING that has been. We have been together now about 10 years and have shared so many memories. It is like we have know each other forever. I lived in Indiana, he lived in Kentucky. We moved to Kentucky right after I met him, we were 2 hours away from each other, for 15 years, now we have relocated again so we are now in Florida.
