RE: Matthew and Hettie,
Hi, Dixie,

The Meridian Cemetery is a trifle difficult to deal with, as they have no office staff. So, be SURE to make an appointment, IN ADVANCE, to have a staff member available to show you where the grave or graves you want to see are located. They are nice folks, but it is not a cemetery designed around customer service. And be on time for your appointment. Just a word to the wise. It is exciting that you are getting to "catch up" with so many of your ancestors, isn't it?

Hettie Bercham Anderson
Hi Dixie:

My name is Judy Lewis Price and I am the 2nd great-granddaughter of Hettie Bercham. Her son, James Madison Anderson, was my great-grandfather. I noted, with interest, that she was also your gggrandmother and I am most interested to know which sibling of James was your great grandparent, if you are comfortable sharing that information. I don't have a great deal of information about Hettie and Matthew but do have a list of their children, some with married names, that my grandmother provided. Also, their headstone appears to be relatively new and I am curious who provided it.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and possibly sharing family information.

Sincerely,
Judy Price

RE: Matthew and Hettie,
Hi, Dixie,

I went out to Star today and got the picture you requested. The sun was finally shining, and it was a beautiful day. They will be posted in an hour or so. Let me know if this is what you want -- the weather will hold until Tuesday, and I will be going that direction again Monday.

Thank you for asking for my work,

Sue Ann

I will definitely look into getting that done for you this coming week, when the folks at the cemetery are back to work. Thank you for asking me!

Sorry to take so long to respond. Sorry also, I don't have any information to help you. I sure wish I did. If you come across something, I love to know about it. Good luck in your search! Blessings!

Dixie, I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner. I've been doing a massive cleaning at my home, trying to get rid of a bunch of stuff. I don't remember if I asked you if you were on Ancestry.com? If you are, I have a bunch of photos on there. If not, my personal email is archeoluvr@aol.com. Please email me and I can send you some of my Inman line.
