I was born August 29, 1943 in Powell, Wyoming. I joined the US Navy in 1963 and spent 2 years in Southeast Asia in the Philippines and Vietnam. I then attended the U of Colorado for a year and a half under the NESEP program and was then transfered to Europe for 4 years, stationed at Rota, Spain. After that I was sent to Washington D.C. for 4 years. At that time I retired and attended Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma, where I attained a BS in Mortuary Science. I owned and operated two funeral homes, one in Moline, Kansas, and the other in Sedan, Kansas, for 26 years. I retired from the business in 2001. I am currently residing in Wichita, Kansas, and am an accountant for Wal Mart Corp.|
I am married, the father of two daughters. I have traced my ancestry back several centuries and am still in the process of chasing down my brickwalls.
As a former funeral director, I find cemeteries fascinating and love to contemplate past lives and histories of the families there.
I am more than happy to make corrections and add relationship links but am curtailing (not stopping) transferring memorials due to growing misunderstanding of what Find A Grave is about by those discovering the site for the first time. The time members have put into their efforts working together and sharing information is not up for grabs based on same-name surname or lineage and I will not do any of these type of transfers.

Hello Mr Huggins, I am sorry to hear that an elder William Dean is not listed in that cemetery. Looks like I will have to look for him elsewhere. Thanks for all your work on Find A Grave. Dean Knudsen

I notice you created this memorial, and I'm trying to find proof that this is the Sarah Coy I'm seeking. Her marker doesn't have the name Coy, and I'm wondering if you would share how you came by her maiden name.
Thanks for any help.

Del, Thank you for transferring the Voigtlander memorials to me. Andrew

I sure don't mind transferring them to you, the only reason I even took the photos is because I was on a Harrison hunt. I figured snapping a photo of every Harrison stone I saw then I could later try and figure out if and how they were related to my Harrison line. I have been searching for the burial location of my GG Grandmother Lovisa Harrison O'Brien since 1994 and was hoping this visit to Osage County would find her, but no luck. I did however get to see where one of her brothers is buried in St. Aubert. Maybe someday I can locate an old newspaper article about her death :)

I had the pleasure of visiting the Chamois Missouri area cemeteries recently and took a few photos of the surnames in my family lines. I took the grave stone photo of Clarence & Rosella Harrison and then went to Find A Grave and did not find them in the St Marys cemetery so I created them a memorial along with their daughter Nadine who is buried near them. Later I was looking at cems and found your listing for them in the Stoner cemetery, I just wanted to let you know they are not buried in Stoner. I also visited Stoner while there and the Harrisons are in the St Marys cemetery. I see you have made family links on your memorials for them and am wondering if you are related?, if so I would be glad to transfer the memorials I created to your care. Please let me know.
