My name is Mitch Clendening, and I am a descendant of William H. Jones you've listed as the father of Pvt. Thaddeus Luton Jones. Thank you the memorial information you've provided for the Jones line. It is proving invaluable in my own research. I have a question about Thaddeus' first wife Julia Ann Smith. You state that their marriage ended in divorce. What source are you using for that statement? I have found no trace of Julia or their son William F. Jones after the 1860 US Census.
