Bio and Links
Bio Photo Visiting cemeteries is like taking a history lesson. Each tombstone tells a story and I find it very fascinating to read the stories and wonder what kind of life each person must have lived. I almost consider myself a professional grave hunter after working for a local funeral home and cemetery, so if I can help you in any way with requests in the Lubbock area, please let me know.

Best regards to all.

RE: Leo and Iva Lucille Willis
Thank you so much. I am trying to round up all my sister in laws cousins and it has really been a chore. People like you make it much easier. Notes given to me on this end have been a nightmare so thank you for all you do to make my job easier.

RE: Charlie
It's so good to hear from you. I asked to manage the graves because I thought a non-family member was managing them. My mom was Ruby Kathleen and my grandparents are Hubert and Ruby. Your picture looks so familiar. I remember visiting Uncle Babe's as a child and the old cars. So you and my mom were cousins right? Of granddad's sibling I remember Aunt Hett and Uncle Elbert. I am more familiar with granny's side. Whom were your parents? I remember Charles too which would be your cousin as well?

I hope to hear from you and find out more about our family or reunions, etc. I do have a brick from the old homestead that my mom collected before Exxon-Mobile dozed the site. Other than that I was too young to remember a whole lot. I remember mom telling me about a cousin that inhaled the skin of a peanut and died and for some reason I want to say it was Uncle Elbert's boy but it is just a fuzzy childhood memory.

Thanks for responding and hope to keep in touch!

Yes, I did get your note and I did respond so not sure why you did not receive it. Computers can be so wonderful but can mess ya up too. Appreciate your help.

RE: George D Berry
Hi, I am at a lost about this one. I am the cemetery historian only so that is why I do add many memorials and at one time we did have 2 for your uncle but it all got merged into your entry and so there is only one memorial under your management, which Thank You for that. I do try to ask anyone that enters a memorial to add the sec and plot # but in your case that is there.
Please let me know what the error is and we will work together on it. I am not family but I did love your aunt, good lady and lunch bunch senior to my mother. Aren't these elderly fun?

CHARLOTTE WILLS
WANTED TO GET BACK TO YOU BEFORE YOU WASTED TOO MUCH OF YOUR TIME ON THIS. I CONTACTED THE CITY OF LUBBOCK CEMETERY AND DISCOVERED THERE IS NO HEADSTONE FOR CHARLOTTE ON HER GRAVE.
THE LADY I SPOKE TO WAS KIND ENOUGH TO SEND ME A PICTURE OF MY GRANDDAD'S MARKER.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR WILLINGNESS.
I HAVE OTHERS IN THE LUBBOCK AREA AND WOULD LIKE YOUR HELP IN THE FUTURE IF NECESSARY.
THANKS AGAIN
GARY WILLS
