Hi Karen,
I have been researching the Hoeppner family of Richland Township and the surrounding area. I have sent you some edits/links thru the SAC tabs for John A. Fehn. His maternal grandfather is Charles Hoeppner 1835-1906. Just wanted you to know where the information came from. Thank you.

Vasold Cemetery Transfers
Hi Karen,

I'm so very sorry to hear of the losses in your family.

I apologize for not responding to your post sooner. I want to let you know how much I appreciated all the work you did. It was kind and generous of you to create the memorials and to update them and transfer them. I know it takes a lot of time, so thank you again.

Kind regards and many thanks,

Evelyn Greenwalt Mandeville has a memorial
You placed her burial in The Peekskill Presbyterian Church yard, an historic site- it has been closed to burials since the 1800's

There is a very complete and thorough memorial for this soul in the Presbyterian Church cemetery in White Plains.

request for transfer

Thanks for adding my grandmother Ruth E. Henry # 107014474 at the Owen Cemetery.

I would like to update her listing with her obit, date of birth, pics, relationship to other findagrave entries.

Is it possible for you to transfer the listing, or, would you like me to send you the edits for her entry.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Daniel Bare

Joseph Pearlstein #106756038

I was delayed for a bit but I think I have finally finished First Sergeant Pearlstein's memorial. Please take a moment and read it. Let me know if you see any grammatical or syntax errors so I can fix them. And if you haven't done so already, would you leave a flower for Joe? I think he deserves it and many, many more.

I only wish I had a photo of him....

RE: Sgt. Pearlstein's memorial transferred

Sorry for the delay in thanking you for the transfer.I am still working on Joseph Pearlstein's memorial - it will take awhile to finish it as the last few years of his life, as a POW, are both inspirational and tragic and I want to do him justice in what I write. I do have some things on his memorial now but it is not "put" together yet nor is his POW story put on yet.

I do have a question for you...Are you sure he is buried in the Gates of Wisdom? The reason I ask, is I can find no such cemetery in Pittsburgh. However, there seems to be a Jewish cemetery called Shaare Torah Cemetery that has a section in it called the Gates of Wisdom. Is that the one you meant?

Thanks again!

Rick Lawrence, MSgt., USMC/USAFR (RET)

Also, since you do not know Joseph, what lead you to build his memorial?
