Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Burlington Vermont, but spent a great amount of time traveling from place to place, first because of my father's military service and then because of my military service. I now live in Texas.

I want to thank those people who go out of their way for strangers, and obtain pictures of the grave marker. Some people do more than just take pictures, some have even research the deceased, and pass information on to me. I sincerely appreciate everyone's time and effort.

I have posted a lot of pictures of my ancestors, please feel free to use a copy for your family tree. I don't see how I could claim ownership after I post them in a free public forum, and to do so would really be silly, don't you think....

If I manage a memorial of someone who has a closer relationship to you than me, and you want management of the memorial, ask, and I will be happy to make a transfer.

If you want to make a recommendation, or have a request, please use the edit function of the memorial page. Otherwise use my email address for anything not related to a memorial.

If I have a recommendation for you, rest assured I have researched the information prior to my recommendation especially since I only make recommendations for my ancestors. Even so, I have made mistakes, if I do just let me know and I will be happy to fix it.

If I request you to transfer a memorial, it is because I knew that person and had a close relationship with that person.

Sadly, If you have your messages disabled, and you do not provide an email address in your profile, or your communications with me. I will do everything I can to contact you, but I may not be able to. In such cases, I will ignore your message, Sorry but I am tired of wasting time trying to verify something from those who do not want to be contacted.

Ruth French
Hi Rick,

Regarding your edit for Ruth French #98701697 her stone states she was born in 1871 and died 1872. Therefore I think I should leave her birth date alone, but I will a note in her bio stating the information you sent. However, since you are related I am willing to change the birth date to 1870.. Let me know.

RE: Lydia Martin
You're welcome! Notice that that Lydia's parents, Cyril and Lucy, are also listed on the stone but they are buried elsewhere.

RE: Charlotte Lamson
You're very welcome. Very good timing. I've been visiting this particular cemetery recently to get photos of the different stones.

Hi Rick--You left a tribute to Rufus M. Rogers stating he was a Civil War Veteran. Neither the former historian, Stanley Rutherford, nor I have seen anything giving this information. Please send me verification of his service so he may be placed on the Veteran Honor Roll for North Gainesville--we don't want to skip any of our veterans. MMann

Harriet E. Sargent # 38305350
Hi Rick,
You sent me

"It looks as if you placed the mothers marker on the child's memorial."

If you look at the photo, you'll see 2 names on it. Mother Eunice on top, daughter Harriet's name underneath.
Jen :)
