We work as a team. |
We watch for family names: Sweeney, Douglass, Nix, Bevans, Hawkins, Humphrey, Mills, Benedict.
All are welcome to use our photos of tombstones. It is nice, however, to hear from you when you use our work. It makes us feel good to help others trace their family's paths.

Hi, Thanks for the nice photo of Richard McGee's heastone. I will make use of it further by adding the photo to his ancestry.com page on my tree. He is a 3rd cousin of ours from Minnesota.

|Bill Norman||Houston Family|
Hi Kay and Duane,
Thank you for the transfer of maintenance for eight members of the Houston family. I shall tend them well.
|Rhonda Brown||Gerald Nida|
Thank you. You have done so much work. I have photographed and entered a couple of small cemeteries and it is not easy, but it is rewarding when others can find the information they need.
|Mr. Jean Coston||Teresa Toteff|
Here is her obit again.
Theresa Philorriena Toteff passed away peacefully August 29, 2013. She will be remembered as a positive, engaging, loyal, generous, hard working, fun-loving and a tlented individual, wife, mother and friend.
She was born November 15, 1927. in Mount Angel, Oregon, to Margaret (Rosenbalm) and Arnold Selm.
Theresa spent her girlhood in Oregon with her brothers Bud, Larry and Jerry, and little sister, Margaret. After graduating in 1946 from St. Mary's Academy in Portland, Oregon, she married her high school sweetheart, Jim Toteff of Kalama, Washington on Aug. 31, 1947. Together, Theresa and Jim raised three children, created a welcoming home. They ran their fishing operations on the Columbia River and in Larsen Bay, Alaska.
When first married, and again later after their children had left for college, Theresa spent summers in Alaska with Jim. At times, She teamed with other adventuresome fishermen's wives to tour the vast Alaska expanses. As she and Jim approached retirement, they spent autumns and winters in their motor home traveling and recreating in Eastern Oregon, Arizona and Northern Mexico. Theresa keenly loved Internalia, Central America, Canada and throughout the U. S.
Theresa was devoted to her children. She instilled strong work ethics, loyalty and reliability along with vast doses of love. She greatly enjoyed her nine grandchildren and took pride in the 18 great-grandchildren.
Theresa's creative energies were reflected in her landscaping, metal sculpture, home decor, crafts and other artistic endeavors. In the past decade, her imaginative flair was expressed in her festive outfits, costumes and hats created for Red Hat Parties and other holiday celebrations.
Theresa's spunky spirit touched many people who will miss her greatly.
She is survived by a son. Jim Toteff (Rhoda) of Kalama, Washington, two daughters, Beth Roberts (Kem) of Bothell, Washington and Sally Toteff (John Ridgway) of Olympia, Washington; a brother, Arnold "Bud" Hallin of Medford, Oregon, a brother Jerry Hallin of Grants Pass, Oregon, a sister, Margaret Ann Nixon of Kalama, Washington, nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband, Jim, a brother, Larry Hallin, and a granddaughter, Carman Marie Toteff.
Sharyn Woerz, an especially devoted friend to Theresa in recent years, occupies a special place in the family's Heart.
Theresa was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Donations to the Community House on Broadway and Community Home Health & Hospice are encouraged.
A funeral service celebrating her life was at Steele Chapel Chapel at Longview Park, 5050 Mount Solo Road, Longview, Washington.
