I live in Tucson, Arizona and have been active in Family History and Genealogy research for the past 14 years. I started in the year 2000, when I retired from our family-owned printing company. I inherited a vast amount of family history from my mother and from my husband's mother. I feel a deep appreciation and love for my ancestors - their lives and sacrifices that have given me a rich heritage. In posting on Find-a-Grave, I hope to share information with others who do research and family history. Posting biographies, along with birth and death information gives a greater picture of those in our ancestry.|

|Glenna Butler||Effie Young|
I think we have a family connection. My Mom is the daughter of Cordelia Smith Garrett Butler and John Winsby Butler. I remember meeting Aunt Effie in the summer of 1968 at her home in Tucson. My parents are buried in the cemetery in Binghampton right next to my Mom's parents. They are Glen E. and Helen B. Haynie. I'm just getting started with family history and am anxious to learn all that I can. My email is email@example.com, and just by coincidence I married a Butler (no connection that we have been able to find.)

You're welcome. I know sometimes even obituaries might have things incorrect. My husband's name was misspelled in his mother's obituary. I sure do appreciate your hard work. I've been working on my husband's ancestors and the sister of his Great-Great-Great-Great-grandfather William S. Appleman was Katherine Ann Appleman Tatman. Katherine's daughter, Catharine Savilla married Thomas Wine and that's how I came across your aunt's name. Some of the Wine line is spelled Wynne.
Thanks for managing your Aunt Odeen's memorial.

I am sorry, but although the Roselawn Cemetery lists both Elmira and Amy Criger, neither plot has a headstone.
I am unable to fulfill your request.

After reading about his life, Section 22, he would have used his cane on who ever numbered it. There is about 200 graves, with many of the graves with site numbers above 200. There doesn't seem to have any pattern in it. I have to walk the section to find someone. He is 3 rows from the east edge, 6 from the south edge.

I'm going to Mountain View Cemetery today and and I wanted to know if there is more than one person there. Also I take a bunch of photos so that you get a feel of the location, not just the stone. So I would like to email you the photos.

I posted that beautiful poem for him.
Are you a relative of Travis'?
I am related also to the Tompkinson's but I don't know how Travis' parents or grandparents are, can you help me with that?

You are very Welcome. Elmer's daughter, May is next to him on his right.
I will transfer the other Brown memorials to you if you wish. I'm sure you can add much more to them that I can. I have Mary's husband and 2 of her children listed.
