Bio Photo I have been searching for family since my second son was born in 1994.

I am interested in the following families: Akers, Allison, Bublitz, Collins, Cooper, Crowder, French, Harshman, Holstine, Isham, James, Kammer, Mayfield, Nelson, Nichols, Nix, Peyton, Smythe, Strickland, Vernon, Villwock, Zeigler.

I will be happy to take pictures at Greenwood Cemetery, Dallas Tx and those in Duncanville, DeSoto, Ennis, Cedar Hill, Ovilla, Red Oak, Pecan Hill, Waxachaie TX

I would like to thank everyone who uses this site for the wonderful photos and bio's of our loved ones, may they never be forgotten.

Please let me know if you notice any mistakes on posted memorials and I will fix them promptly.

I will be happy to transfer direct family members, please do not request more as it takes considerable amount of time to enter all this information. I WILL NOT transfer entire families because you want a whole family in a certin cemetery. Direct family members would be within four generations such as great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, or siblings. Transfer request must also contain relationship. Please send request for transfer through the correction tab it makes it eaiser to locate the memorial.

RE: Clement c Strickland
Hello Kelli!

I left responses for you and Sheri together.
I just realized tho, that without responding to you personally, you wouldn't get an e mail to let you know that you have messages. So that's what this is. I left three messages I think, with Sher, but included you. I can see that your info is quite different in spite of some corresponding names and dates. It leaves me confused. I have a tendency to trust State Vital Records, and Court Deeds more than websites like or the Census. Court recording clerks had to be accurate. Integrity was important. Census recorders on the other hand, were ordinary folks hired for a one-time, short-lived job, and lots of mistakes are found in the Census. My experience with and Rootsweb and others like them, are that folks trade great volumes of data, and the facts get lost and confused. I find family pedigree charts on there can be very inaccurate. My own, in fact, is totally inaccurate. I fed the information in on a draft chart and the final, published chart was all screwed up. As that happened with my own, I'm reluctant to trust anyone else's either. So, I try, as much as I can, to get copies of records directly from State Vitals offices and County libraries. Old Newspaper articles are awesome fun and can sometimes provide photos you won't find anywhere else. Websites are available now that catalog all of a County's historical newspapers online. It's always a treasure hunt! :-) I'd love for you to share with me what you have found.

RE: Infant Wilcox #49720432

That's very nice of you, but don't put yourself out too much. I will admit, however, I am a little curious about it!

It looks to me like someone added a gravestone for Amanda and Alfred Wilcox, the supposed parents of this infant, at a later time. It appears to be a much newer gravestone style than would have been erected in 1895/6. Maybe from the 1940's to 1950's.

Anyway, thanks for your help. Amanda was my husband's gr-gr-grandmother.

Infant Wilcox #49720432
Kelli - I was updating info. about Amanda and Alfred Wilcox in the Independence OK cemetery and saw the listing for this child. It is noted as "Son of Alfred M & Amanda M", but they were both dead well before 1911. Do you know where the information about this grave came from?

Joel Findley

You created memorial 92393963 for Joel Findley in Mt. Zion Cemetery. I noticed that the headstone photo has different dates.

I wonder if the person who took the photo should have created another memorial to match his photo.

Everything that I have read says Joel's birth and death dates are the same for your memorial, but I don't know for sure.

Peyton and Maggie Bailey
Many thanks for restoring the photo or gravestone of my great grandparents Peyton Bailey and Maggie Mullins. This is so greatly appreciated, as this is a fitting memorial to them. I am the granddaughter of their daughter Anna Belle Bailey, who married Albert Sidney Corbell.

Thanks again,

Pat Corbell Gonzalez
