Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been involved in cemetery research since 2004, concentrating on old sites in Claiborne County, Mississippi. I love the peace and solitude that comes with surveying an old site and "discovering" whose name will be on the next stone. My goal is to put together a historical and geographical sketch of Claiborne County, based on cemetery locations, 1800's marriage records and will records. I get a thrill out of being able to put people in touch with their long-lost ancestors. I will always be happy to transfer any memorials to their relatives or other loved ones. And despite my e-mail address, I do NOT dig up bones!

Daniell Cemetery/Freeland Cemetery
I notice you took photo of cemetery but no markers from within.
The Freelands are my family. If you ever get that way again I would love some photos.
It looks like no photos have been taken there.

RE: John Andrews, Thyatira Pres. Cemetery
You are very welcome. I would have had no clue what the headstone said or where it was if I had not had the church's cemetery book. The stone is really worn.

I included the inscription from the church record with the photo.

John Andrews, Thyatira Pres. Cemetery
Hi. I will be happy to photograph Catherine and John. Would you add a separate request for John? I have a cemetery list with inscriptions included if you need the inscriptions.

I am researching the Lewis Family and wanted to know if you possibly knew James Walter Lewis Sr.'s first wife's name ? She would be the Mother to Oscar Earl, Gladys, Roy & Irene. I have not be able to find Irene past the 1900 Census when they were living with James Walter's brother
George Oscar Lewis. If you have information, would you share.
