I live in a small farm town in southeastern Wyoming. I am a nurse working mostly full-time, but would be willing to take a photo of a grave in this area. I am close to Cheyenne, but work in the opposite direction in Nebraska. I do get to Cheyenne once in awhile, so could ostensibly take a grave photo there.

My father and the paternal side of my family are from the central Missouri area (Cole and Miller Counties), and my maternal ancestors hale from the York Co., PA and Mansfield, Ohio area. My husband's family are mostly from the Door and Kewaunee County areas of Wisconsin. However, I was born and raised in northern California. I enjoy genealogy and walking through peaceful cemeteries, especially if they are old, and reading what is written on the headstones (and then wondering about what their lives and families were like).

If you are related to any of the people mentioned, I would be happy to transfer that memorial to you (excepting my own family, of course!)- just tell me of your relationship when you contact me.

Please ask me first about posting any of my uploaded individual person photographs to a genealogy website- the photos of relatives are ones I have scanned from my own personal photos handed down to me and uploaded to certain memorials, so they are considered copyrighted by myself. Thank you!

RE: Sarah J. Neal
You're welcome. I am not related. I was doing research in the area & when I come across this type of info, I try to put it where someone will be able to find it. Thanks for claiming her. Happy researching!

Thanks for the foto on #63856411. Could you also put it on her sister's memorial #108763271? They share a headstone. Thanks again.

merge memorials?
I have been doing some work on my husband's family making some additions and corrections on findagrave for his cousins. I had added photos to memorials for their father and they asked if I could link him to his parents as he was the only child not attached and to link to their parents.

I asked for a photo of their mother's last husband and told them I would create memorials for him and link him to this spouse also. I had the obituary for their mother, Juanita Romaine Theinhardt. This was the spelling I used when I added this surname to their mother. I found she was buried in Kimball, Nebraska (even though her name appears on and a spot had been reserved with their father, her 1st husband and father of her children, at the Cemetery in Alliance, Nebraska.) When I researched there was not record for a Theinhardt in Kimball Cemetery. So I linked her to Richard Vandermate and was in the process today of creating her last husband's memorial when I found yours. So I did not create that one. I merely added a photo of Leonard Neil Thienhardt and linked him to Juanita. You see, her last name was spelled incorrectly in the obit, so I missed that they were duplicated.

So now we need to some how merge the two memorials for Juanita and add some information to Leonard's. I did correct the spelling of the memorial I created, so you now see it there. I have her obit there also. Leonard was born in Nebraska and passed away in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska. His parents Blanche & William are also buried in Kimball Cemetery and should be linked to him.

Thank you so much for your help!

Andrew Duncan
Sorry. I was going by memory. There is a verse at the bottom of Andrew Duncan #63887575 that I can't read. I'm surprised that I didn't copy his and Selinda's verses on their headstones. As for your Purdys, they aren't listed in the cemetery booklet or in my transcriptions. If they had markers, they disappeared or became unreadable before I got there. I'm sure they were buried there, even though they don't show up anymore. There are at least 4 children in our family that were buried there, according to my great-grandfather, whose markers have been lost over the years. Sorry I didn't have a record of any Purdys in the old or new Round Hill cemeteries. I even checked the initials on the footstones. Did you see those? They mark the boundaries of the grave on the end, where the feet would be.
