Would anyone be able to translate this headstone?|
I don't have a clue and would like to get this person posted. Thanking you in advance.
I enjoy family history and when I discovered Find a Grave I was quite thrilled. Unfortunately none of my relatives were posted.
My mission was to get my relatives posted and while I was at it I posted the people around my relatives. I keep expanding the circle hoping the effort will help someone.
If you see your relative I would be happy to transfer management to you(except for my immediate family). Please don't assume that they are my family if they are linked to spouses or children. If I am sure they are related I link them.
I am not fussy about copyrights to my pictures posted on find a grave. Please feel free to copy them.

Thank you for the priest's headstone pictures for this cemetery and the updates. Much appreciated.
Maybe the Purvis should be put in her middle or maiden name? I think if it is at least displayed some way, with a short explanation in bio, it would help. Not sure how to display it to be sure it would come up on a search. This really isn't a relative...just a very distant connection in my tree....I do not think I have any further info on her. I am ok either way, transfer or no transfer, thanks for offering.

Thanks for transferring the memorial, Janet. By the way, I sent your mystery text to my daughter who studies languages. She wanted to know where this gravestone is located. I'll let you know if we get any clues! Sara

I wonder if you could transfer management of this memorial to me. Andreas Flaig was my great-grandfather. Thanks, Sara

I will take a closer look this evening to see if I can can find anything more than the last time I looked.... I had some one write today about wanting me to delete my listing for him. I mentioned that you and I have communicated about leaving this "open" for now.
Being that the date of passing is the same, it very well may be the same person.....
Thanks for all your work that helps so many...

Just wanted to let you know, I found two more of the kids, I am still looking for Annie, might take a while since she probably married and had 10 or more kids like the rest of the early generations of the Kratzenbergs. Turns out you can spell Kratzenberg many ways, very creative spelling, but I'm getting there. When I find Annie I'll let you know.
Thanks for all your help,
|Mary Jane Kratzenberg Senn||Thanks|
Thank you for the transfers, I'm looking for the other kids.
|Mary Jane Kratzenberg Senn||Thanks for your help and advice.|
I would love for you to transfer Henry and Mathilda Kratzenberg to me. I will request them on the edit link. That will be 2 more steps on my journey to connect my family.
I'll be on the search for the three other children.

I have been doing some research on Mathilda Kratzenberg, at first I didn't find her on Find A Grave, I was just about to list her and did one more search. Amazing how one letter (h) in her name slowed me down. I have her death certificate and on it and the 1900 census, and birth record for her son it has the h. She was born in May of 1860 and had three more children, William born 1873, Lorenz born 1885 and Annie born 1880.
I think she is my GGG aunt. I wonder if her other three children are buried at Saint Mary's as well.
Thank you for finding her and listing her grave. My personal goal is to list as many of my family as possible, I'm the youngest of 14 children, only 4 living, and I want to leave as much information as I can for the younger generations.
|Betsy Caposell||Fuchs and Fey|
Greetings. I nearly keeled over when I found your memorial, #129059427, for Anna Fuchs & Mary Fey, and noticed that on the same memorial you included the headstone for Peter Fey & Anna Fey.
These are almost certainly close relatives of mine. I have been having SUCH a hard time finding my Fuchs ancestors. My father's grandmother was Maria Anna Fuchs, wife of Stephen Vetter. Her parents are the ones I'm having such a difficult time finding. Church records show that Maria's parents were Joseph & Anna Fuchs, born in Germany. But I remember my mother telling me that "Aunt Annie Fey" was a sibling of Maria Anna Fuchs. So, when I ran across your memorial (which is definitely in a cemetery located in my ancestors' part of Pittsburgh), I couldn't believe my eyes.
Do you know the connection between the Fuchs and the Feys? There has to be some reason you put both headstones on one memorial.
Are you a Fuchs descendant?
A THOUSAND THANKS!
