GENEALOGY RESEARCH is one of my passions. I am retired from 21 years as a church office administrator in Wisconsin and before that, 4 years as a church office secretary in Iowa. Now I'm into full time genealogy research! Basically I use ancestry.com and findagrave.com along with family information and other search sites. I have many years in this great hobby - working in memory of my grandma who used to tell me family stories, and in memory of my mother in law who wanted my help to find her family records. Maybe my work will help others find their family records also.|

Hello, Can I ask how are you associated with the Knapp family? I am a descendant of John Jacob Knapp and I am always adding branches to the family.

I saw your new email in your Find a Grave profile, and sent to it. Did you get? Email is best for me.
Yes, I've been out of geneology for a few years, but dabble every now and then.

You are very welcome. I just discoverd her today. I found a marriage license on her and her sister's husband John Reinwald . She married him after her sister died. Then she married Adam Schmitt. I was very excited to find her too. Someone put on all her family's obituaries so some great info on her family.

you're very welcome.
You are welcome! Frank's parents ended up in South Dakota living near John's brother Edward Walton and his family. Edward and John farmed land for others in Ingraham Township, Mills County, Iowa in 1895 before John married Cora. Edward took his family to South Dakota in 1898, but it looks like John stayed to raise his family in Iowa. They evidently reunited in S.D. in later years. By the way, Edward was married to Minnie Wares, sister of my great great grandmother, Grace. Have a good holiday. -Mike
