I was born in a small town in Saline County, Nebraska. I used to love driving around in the country with my mom, looking at all the old buildings that were abandoned. You just knew there had to be a good story behind them. I hate seeing cemeteries and their headstones in poor shape. This is my effort to photograph and document what I can now, in case it's not there later! I have walked a lot of the cemeteries around Fillmore & Butler counties in Nebraska. A lot of my memorials from my Stejskal/Styskal side and Taylor memorials are all family. It doesn't hurt to ask for a transfer!
Abner Brittain #30659688 Regarding your new photo request for him, I found his obit which stated he was the son of Ollie Britton rather than Brittain as the original cemetery records had recorded the name. A Springfield 1910 city directory also had the name as Britton so I changed the spelling on his memorial. I am 100% sure he has no tombstone because I photographed that entire Block where he is buried not too long ago. It certainly is not unusual for an infant to have no stone in that timeframe, at least in this cemetery. The area where he is has only about 3 stones, none of them his. I doubt I can pinpoint exactly where his grave is, so all I can offer is an overall photo of the area. If you want to delete the request, that's fine, but wanted you to know. Any questions, just let me know via the Edit tab on his memorial. Thanks.
I am wondering, are you a descendant of Eva Mae Peffley Faust? If so, then we are cousins. I am a descendant Joel M. Clanton and Sarah Jane Hudson (my 3rd great grandparents through their son, Isaac Monroe Clanton). I love to hear from different cousins that I have never met.
Charles Condon: Lushton Cemetery #73573538 Hello Jennifer, My memorial was created a year earlier than the other contributor's and I've updated mine and linked more family so I will not delete. If you would like this one transferred, I would be happy to do so.
May I use the two very nice pictures you submitted to Find A Grave of Frank Baller and his wife Marie "Mary" (Heineman) on my family tree with Ancestry.com. I will make certain I add your name to each if you do let me use them.
Creta A. Jackson Hi, I am just wondering if you are related to Creta? I am not related myself but I was looking around and found out some info about the car accident. I can give you the link if you want to post it. Or even just add some more info to her memorial? Sue
