I live in San Antonio, Texas and have been researching my family for the last 15 years. When I found Find A Grave it opened up so many more doors. As I find my all my Grandparents I am quick to sponser them in appreciation of Find A Grave. If anyone needs anything in the San Antonio area please email me and I will certainly try and help.|

Hi! Regarding your photo request, can you please contact the cemetery and obtain the Section, Lot, and Grave Number information, and then post it to your request? Please also ask if there is a grave marker and add that information to your photo request and/or memorial. The Find A Grave FAQs state the photo requestor is responsible to provide this information.
Elmwood Cemetery: (708) 453-0273
This cemetery provides extremely limited assistance to photo volunteers with finding a grave's location. Last year I was able to fulfill almost 200 photo requests at Elmwood through this process. Because the lots in this cemetery are poorly marked, almost no one else ever photographs here. I have only had success here because I have spent literally weeks at a time to learn the intricacies of the layout of this cemetery.
Thank you for helping me to help you.

Just took a picture of your relatives gravesite and posted it. The Tombstone is loose from it's base and not in the ground as can be seen in the picture. it fell over but i put it back on its base. have a nice day.

Happy New Year!
Yes, I'd love to have a look at your tree. I believe I am a 7th great granddaughter of Richard III Lundy, but I still need to collect a lot of documentation to prove it. I'd love to look at your tree on Ancestry, if you'd like to "invite" me. Thanks for the note.

This is a follow up from my last post. What I am seeking to find, not Thornton, but Boones. In my stepsister's family, her maternal line are Boones. In 1910, there are:
D Florence Boone 39
Price Boone 20
May Robbie Boone 2
James Boone 0
Martha Boone 77
Living with your family.
Do you know how they might be related to each other. They and the Mcclungs are all living together.

Mr Tisdale, I recently was taking photos in Forest Park East Cemetery for Find A Grave to fulfill some requests and I looked for your Monica Lawrence at the Chapel View Mausoleum. I looked at all vaults at this mausoleum and could not find Monica Lawrence however there was a Patrick Lawrence Jr 1949-1986 and a Patrick Lawrence Sr 1916-1989 there. It appeared that there was an open area in the same vault space that had no name on it. Is there a possibility that this is where Monica's remains may be without a marker? It may be that she was interred last with no one to insure that the marker was added. Hope this is of some help. Fred King
Thanks so much! Barb
