Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing research for over twenty years and even though my family ties are in South Dakota I have found relatives through out most of the midwest.

Presently I reside in Fargo, ND and am willing to help anyone needing photos or research in this area.

Minnie Sacket grave
Thank you so much for taking this picture for me. I can't tell you how much it means.

It would be interesting to know what her cause of death was.

Her father, Joseph Sacket (my great grandfather) was a pioneer in the Dakota Territory. He came from Lisbon, NY and homesteaded outside Fargo in Lisbon, No, Dakota. He died in 1900 and the funeral was in the charge of A.O.U.W. of which he was a charter member.

I cannot find where he was buried. You would think if he were buried in No Dakota, it would be near Minnie but there is no record of another Sacket in that cemetery. I suspect he was cremated and Mary took his ashes with her back to New York. She left and went back to New York with her son shortly after Joseph died.

Thank you again,

Eileen Sacket Russell

Hi Kenneth,
I have added the photos for Johanna and created a memorial for Julius and added the photos.
I have also transferred Julius over to you.
Sincerely, Ron Kinney

Thank you for the heads-up
Hi Ken - I made the first name change that you requested below. FYI - This is a memorial that was made by another volunteer and then transferred to me to maintain.

(Please make the correction to R. Greg Nogowski's memorial. His name was not Robert as you have listed, it was Raphael, the same as his father.)
