I'm addicted to Genealogy so my wife says. I've been doing it for about twelve years. Taking pictures of all the kin I never got to meet. We were told we were the last of the Reece's "NOT"!! I started out with about ten names and have over six thousand now. I'm really glad there are people who will help you with your research. FindAGrave is another tool for newcomers to Genealogy and Veterans. If you find any errors or would like for us to correct the info that was supplied to us please e-mail us.
My brother Jim & I are currently working on all the NC Vietnam KIA/MIA's Grave sites. After 6 years of searching, we've located all the resting places for these brave men & women who paid the ultimate price, 1785 of them. This doesn't mean we are idle. Now we are looking for their photos. The search for all Vietnam KIA/MIA's goes on.

Thanks for adding the grave information on LTC James Alvin Branch, and that you were able to provide a photo of his grave marker. Branch and Jewell and their aircraft were destroyed on impact.

I'm a little confused about how you got my request and why the duplicate hasn't been deleted. I see that you know each other. I would normally send a letter to the person who created the incorrect record and I will do that unless you don't want me to for some reason. I know sometimes family issues can be touchy and the other memorial is in a small family cemetery. We have lots of those around here, and I have been caught in the crossfire at times. I will just leave things alone unless you write back and tell me what to do.
I just read your bio and what you have done is quite interesting. I am working on a similar project, but on a MUCH smaller scale. My Dad was an Advent Christian minister, and somebody posted a memorial for him on Find A Grave within 24 hours, someone we didn't know - from Maine. After asking for a transfer of Dad's memorial, I found out that the guy in Maine is collecting historical info on past ACC ministers and he needed some help with ministers from NC, so that is what I am researching.
