Bio and Links
Bio Photo Genealogy and cemeteries are my hobbies, along with scrapbooking. I've done 25 photo albums, some with our ancestors,so I love the hunt for families and their locations. I will go all over Cass and lancaster counties to help find headstones for you. I love the older cemeteries in Cass county. I also will transfer ownership of people I put on find-a-grave,if a family wants to do more editing.

Thanks so much for the pictures of their headstones.
My parents were great friends of the Turnbulls and I have many happy memories of Betty when she lived in Omaha.

Upton
I am the daughter of Lester and Vernie Upton. I am quite positive of the relationship between Ralph (my grandfather) and Hiram and Olive. I was told the story of the Bass' (Olive's family) and the Jesse James gang many times growing up. Hiram and his family lived near the Kansas/Nebraska border, either/both States at different times.

Anna Parker
Hello: I have found only one Parker monument in the cemetery. On it is the inscription for an L.D. Parker (male) who died on March 10, 1886, aged 51 years, 27 days. Also on the monument is the inscription for a Ralph, son of L.D. and A.E. Parker, who died on April 24, 1870, age 9 months. Though an educated guess, would further genealogical research of Anna Parker reveal that she was married to an L.D. Parker and had an infant son named Ralph? The age of the man and his date of death would make him the right time frame for the birth and death years listed for Anna Parker. If this proves to be correct, my speculation would be that Anna is buried at or near the existing monument, and was simply the last of her family and no marker was every placed on her grave, or an inscription was not added to the existing monument for her, or she had a separate marker that has been lost over the years. Please test my theory, which I strongly suspect is likely the case, and then decide if you wish to close this request or leave it open. You may contact me at shellbrook@cox.net directly. I truly hope this was helpful.
