I am a learning specialist in private practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. My areas of focus include reading remediation, language processing, executive function and advocacy. When I'm not working with kids and their families, I am most likely in a cemetery working on photo requests!|
If you are making a photo request, please see if there is an office onsite that can give you the plot location. Two of my favorite cemeteries are Acacia and Concordia...it can be difficult for volunteers to continually ask for locations, so please help us help you by getting all the information you can!
I also work on requests when I travel...yes, it's a rather addicting hobby!
I don't create many memorials, but if there is one you would like transferred, please let me know.
You are welcome to reproduce any photograph I have taken for you through venues that will help others document family history. Credit is appreciated.
Find A Grave is an amazing site, and I'm so pleased to have met so many wonderful people here!

I know this was a long time ago, but you tried to help me find The Bricca Family. One day i happened to find a man who had the graves posted but not the story about them. I contacted him and he added his photos to my memorial and I changed the cemetery name. If you look them up you should be able to see them. Thanks for all of your help

Hi Sherry. Thanks for writing. Yes, looking at your tree, it appears that Clara is the neice of Gustav. I was intrigued with the photograph of Gustav and Wilhemenia. It's really incredible. I have been searching for Charles and Clara for a long time and finally found them recently. He left the St. Louis Vollmers for some reason and no one knew anything about them. At least no one alive today. I was glad to figure that mystery out. Did you see the photo of Clara?
I have a brother in Rockford. Perhaps some day I will visit Concordia Cemetery and find their burial site.
Great to make the connection. Always great to hear from some cousins.

I recently added a page for my great grand aunt Clara Sandkohl Vollmer (124641168) in Concordia cemetery. Do you think there is a connection to your Gustav Sandkohl.
I see on the census she had a father named George but someone corrected the name to Gus. But they put his birth date as 1849 and I see your Gustav is 1859.
Just curious. Maybe they are more distantly related.
