|Let me start by saying that I do VERY MUCH appreciate anyone who has taken their time to enter memorials in this wonderful system. Without your contribution this system would not be as wonderful as it is today. If you are one of the great photographers that waits for the perfect light and gets down on their knees to take that close up shot I applaud you and than you for your hard work!|
Something I have learned poking around here for a while now. It is pointless to enter thousands and thousands of memorials if you are not going to respond to update requests so the data you have entered is accurate. There is no badge of honor for keying in pages of cemetery books only to ignore correction and linkage requests for the individuals you have entered. If you are going to support this project please respond to the update requests quickly or transfer the memorial to the requestor so that they can make the updates. They obviously have been doing some research for a reason. Please don't be a roadblock here.
I normally post SAC update requests sent to me in 2 weeks. If the memorial has not been updated in that time send me another SAC request please because it is a good indication I probably missed or did not get your first request.
Another thing I have learned is it helps to park your emotions and hot buttons at the door. We are all here to support this project and help it grow and develop. Sometimes it is easy to loose sight of that common goal. If you are easily offended by a simple request or find that you begin to take feedback too personally try to remember this is a community and not just your own playground. For this place to work we all have to work together and that requires some tolerance from everyone involved.
I have been working my family tree for more than 30 years. Lost all my computer data and working to rebuild my files. Family names of PERSONS, BADER, COX, NEIMAN, SUTTON, EMERY, AUMBERIC, GUTTING, RAU, VanWORMER, and others.
Son of the American Revolution.
Photographer, Geocacher, and Waymarker.
Remember to back up your data! and ALWAYS have FUN!

|Rebecca Geiger||Request for National Memorial Falls Church|
Hi, my name is Rebecca Geiger and I am trying to take a picture of the
gravestone of your loved one per your request on Find A Grave website.
However the cemetary is going to charge me a $200 geneology fee to
gather the plot information for the list of pepople.
If you were to call for your individual person, the cemetary would
however not charge the fee, and then I would happily go and get the
picture for you.
This is my personal email, so please send the plot information back
asap and I will go and take the picture.
Phone number for cemetary per site: (703) 560-4400
|Emery 1959||RE: Emery Family in Flint|
My Emery Family tree is as follows: Carl E Emery (Dad); Paul B Emery (Granddad); Derward Emery (Great GD); John B Emery (GG GD); Barnard Emery (GGG GD); Bernard Emery (GGGG GD); and Johannes Emmerich (GGGGG GD). So, John B., his wife Mary Markell and their children are related to me. Edith Emery (my Great grand mother), her infant, her daughter Ruth and her aunt (Leola Clark Sevener) are my relatives. The Case Emery's are cousins and I do really need them transferred. Aren't you related to them via John L. Emery? Thank you

I meant to say, Thomas and Martha Webb. Rosalie
|Rosalie H. Kaufman||Webb|
If you go to Green Ridge Cemetery, Bay City, MI, look up Webb & there you will find Charles and Martha Webb.
|Richard Wesley||Walter Thomas Cone (1894-1968)|
Hello, Mark!! Just letting you know that Kathy Salazar answered my request and added Walter's marker photo to his memorial....Nice photo!
I admire & share your attitude about the Findagrave website! I don't do much photography, but when I do I always bring grass shears and a soft whisk broom to make all of each marker visible and clean. If I arrive in the afternoon and the lighting on a particular marker would be better in the morning, then I make a note and come back on a morning to get the shot. I'm a happy contributor to Findagrave! Keep up the good work!
|Janell Shumaker Keuler||Cone Family in Hillside Cemetery, Chilton, WI|
i have claimed your request for a photo of Walter Cone's memorial in Hillside Cemetery. A few years ago, I inventoried that cemetery and the only Cone's that I found are Corydon, Sarah and Hattie Cone Crawford. There is no record of any of the others there. I stopped at the cemetery today and noticed that there is a large area near the stone of Corydon and Sarah.
It is possible that the other cones are buried in that area. I will try to probe that area if the weather permits to see if there might be other stones that are under the sod.
