William Noon 'Bill' Woodward (olddrifter)
B: 16 Jun 1933, So.Pasadena, California, USA. At the William Woodward home (grandparents), Friday 10:35 pm, upstairs front bedroom, hot summer night, windows open, sweet aroma of magnolia blossoms in the air from large front yard tree.
Graduated So. Pasadena High School 1950.
Military Service: US Navy Aviation Radio-Radarman (ATAL), 1950-52 during Korea War. Discharge: Honorable.
US Air Force Civil Air Patrol (CAP), Calif. Wing, 1st Lt., Pilot with Search & Rescue, High Altitude, and Narcotics Interdiction Ratings.
Marriage: Jane Alice Weldon, 10 Jul 1954, South Pasadena, California, USA.
Post High School & US Navy Schools: Airman and Aviation Electronics "B" Schools, USN, 1951; Occidental College 1953; San Diego State 1954; American InterContinental Univ., BSIT Magna Cum Laude, 2004. Licenses: Commercial Pilot - Instruments and Glider Tow Ratings; FAA Pilot Proficiency Wings thru Phase VIII. Appointed FAA Aviation Safety Counselor 1997.
Elected Office: Past Commissioner, Public Service District (PSD) 2004-2008.

Hi Mr. Woodward,
Thank you so much for fulfilling my photo request for Wesley Beers. Two of his brothers married into my grandma's side of the family. He is not a direct relative to me.
I cannot imagine what kinds of experiences Wesley Beers saw in the Civil War; and then to wind up getting a disease and dieing from it!
Thank you again for taking the time to go and take the great pictures. I don't know if I'll ever get down there to see his grave in person. It's a long way from Lake Odessa, Michigan.
