I began using findagrave primarily to find and memorialize my family members, many of whom I do not even know the place of burial. I also enjoy fulfilling photo requests. Since many other genealogists have similar goals and issues locating family, I have expanded my efforts and have begun adding all the memorials (with grave photos) for the Jewish cemeteries in my local area.
Due to copyright rules, I do not post obituaries. However, if you have one for a memorial I have posted, e-mail it to me and I would be glad to keep it on file to help with researching family members. I do basic genealogical searches to add maiden names, missing birth or death dates, and link parents with children, where possible. In this way, I hope to provide the basics for anyone searching for family.
I will gladly transfer management of any of my memorials to family members (please provide your relationship).
Please use the edit function, if you are providing additional information or corrections for a memorial.
Use of my grave photos is for non-profit purposes only, with proper photo credits to me.
Thanks your for the SACs regarding her maiden name, and her parents. Are you related? I would be happy to transfer management of Leah Miller's page to you. I added this memorial during my research about her son Joseph M. Miller, who was killed in action during World War II.
