Four years ago when I discovered Find a Grave I found this website to be invaluable in my family research. I then began photographing graves of my relatives. Now I photograph graves of people that I don't know hoping that I can help someone else find their relatives. I love to visit old cemeteries. Each weekend I try to visit three or four cemeteries.|
I know that I manage a large number of memorials but I am not "in it for the numbers."
I don't have time to research every person that I enter. I hope that the memorials are a starting point for someone researching their family.
I transfer memorials that are not related to me. Please follow the guidelines and state your relationship.
Please use the edit tab for requests. This does prevent accidents.
Also, when requesting transfers or information remember to ask nicely. Questioning someone's faith is no way to get help.
Advice for new members: Don't let negative comments discourage you. I received and still receive them but when you receive and email from someone who has found a relative with your help it is all worthwhile.
My families are Pillow, Jordan, Yates, Cash, Campbell and Mays.
Feel free to use my pictures. That's why I post them here.

Thank you so much Barbera! God Bless you!
Found my great-grandparents marker!
This was my first time useing this source. I can't wait to continue looking around as Elija & Ada Madison had around 12 children.
Their son Robert C. Madison married Fair Mae Blackwell, my maternal grandparents (both buried @ Augusta Memorial Park in Waynesboro, Va.).
Fair Mae Blackwell had just as many siblings, give or take.
As told by my grandmother & many great Aunt's & Uncles when I was growing up: "The Madison's & the Blackwell's were like the 'Hatfields & McCoys' of Fairfield, Va."
I can't wait to share this new-found informatin with remaining family.
Thanks Barbera! SO EXCITED!

Thanks for the directions. I may get by there next week.
Looks like the marker is very worn.

Joan, thank you so so much for the transfer of Crystal. This meant so much to me. I think about Crystal all the time. I don't think you ever get over the death of a child. Have a good day. Irma Hargis

Hi,I just saw my granddaughter's memorial. Thank you so much, because I never got to see her grave after her death. I would very much like a transfer of her memorial, so I can add some history. ( Irma hargis, a new find a grave member.)
Thank you, very much for the transfer.I truly appreciate it.

thank you so much for the great photos.
I appreciate your taking and posting the tombstone photo for Harold Marshall. I did not have his date of death and his tombstone photo supplied that.
