Bio Photo I was never one to visit cemeteries until 1997 when my mom passed away suddenly. I would go and visit her grave but that was the only one I would visit. I was searching for information on headstones for my dad when I found Find A Grave. I went to the site and looked around and I was hooked. Been here every since. This is a wonderful site. I now go to cemeteries all over the state.

If you have the time could you stop by and leave my mom some flowers Thanks

Judith Hammond

Margarett Raff KOLB
Please double check the information for Margaret Raff Kolb in the Braysville Cemetery. She was the wife of George Kolb (1808-1882). She also had a son named George (1838-1900). Further down her memorial it says:

Family links:
George S Kolb (1838 - 1900) (Should be 1808-1882)

I understand the grave stone of Margaret's husband, George Kolb (1808-1882), has not been found. Only her son's marker is visible.

The link in George Kolb (1838-1900), the son, says:

Family links:
Margaret Raff Kolb (1810 - 1853)*
(should say SON, not spouse)

Thank you for all your contributions.
Grace (Seamon) Kopitske,
descendant of Mary Kolb Seamon
(daughter of Margaret Raff Kolb)

Cynthia Graves Carter
I inadvertently added the name of Cynthia Graves Carter to the Graves Cemetery website, not realizing that you had already added her name. However, I have made some corrections and additions to her name, including some relationships which you did not have in your entry. You may either put my additions in your entry, in which case I will delete mine, or you may deleter your entry and allow my entry to stand with me managing that entry. Notify me, and I will delete mine if necessary. We should not have duplicates. Thank you for your consideration. Jim Means

Your Find A Grave sites are fantastic. I am doing research on the Hammond's. My husband's 1st cousin Bonnie Bryant King's Mother Jewell Hammond died February 16, 2015 and I thought I would do so research for her.

Norman Russel Ferguson
Hi there!

I spotted memorial #10785036 for Norman Russel Ferguson that you entered in Bethel Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
The dates are right, and even the parents carved onto the stone are right.

Here's where it gets spooky...
His death record in Canada states both death and burial on Pelee Island, Ontario where he was also born.
There is even a F.A.Grave memorial at the cemetery there on Pelee Island, but without a headstone photo. Memorial# 128523595.

Can you confirm if that headstone picture onmemorial #10785036 is from Indianapolis?

I feel all Sherlock-Holmes-ish LOL.
Thanks a bunch! :-D

Your Mom - Ms. Judy
Hi Ms. Velma: I came across your Mom's memorial quite by chance and left her some flowers. What a gem she was! I'm so very sorry that she was taken from you so soon. Thanks for all your contributions on Findagrave. I'm fairly new here, but I love this website! Thanks for reading my message. Blessings to you and your family.

Alden Whitney
I noticed that you left flowers for Alden Whitney. Are you a relation of his? If so, then I would love to see if you could help me confirm his identity.
