My father died before I was born so I never knew him…only that he was buried in Alamo Cemetery…..My son and I am visiting the grave for the first time in September….I was so happy to have found your picture as the people in the century office did not know exactly if he had a headstone or not…Thank you so much…!!

I am doing a history of the block I live on in Seattle. In 1928, at 1734 East 62nd Street, W. Fort Jackson lived with his wife Ethel Chrisman Jackson. I've found nothing on W. Fort, but more on Ethel, a lyric soprano listed in a 1918 Musicians Gazetteer, then in a news article about the Women's Club in Portland, Or. I like to include interesting information about the people who lived here--not genealogical, but especially related to their lives here. I would happily share with you everything I find, if your Ethel is our Ethel. I have a feeling she and W. Fort my have divorced. My email is Forsterk3940@aol.com. I am Kate Forster. Are you a direct descendant of Fort and Ethel? Thanks!

I don't know you Annie, but I want to say thank you for adding the photo of my parents headstone from the Alamo cemetary. I haven't been able to be there for near ten years now, so it was nice to see it.
