If your messages are disabled, I cannot communicate with you - that's a shame. If you leave me a message and I cannot reply, it gets deleted unread and with no action. I don't send edits on random memorials to communicate with contributors.
I won't collaborate with people who leave biographical information as virtual flowers. I will not make edits based on that. Tacky.
Please do not post obit scans, newspaper scans, DCs, screen shots, etc. to memorials I manage. They are reported and removed.
Transfers within 4x guidelines - no exceptions.
ANCESTRY TREES ARE NOT SOURCES FOR EDITS. Birth/death records, census records, newspapers, military and marriage records can all be considered as sources, as well as a plethora of other media. I typically will not make edits unless they can be verified. Too many times, I've had people request edits because 'I'm family and I know' - then they turned out to be incorrect.

It's my pleasure, that's one of my favorites and believe it or not, I was out there last night so I'll be posting some photos from Section 2 and I definitely want to get a closer look at the other single digit numbered sections. I also just found Pine Creek Allison Park, The Lithuanian Association on Bellevue Rd and St Nicholas Millvale. I come from Glenshaw so I found Pine Creek fascinating and can't wait to go back. I got your request and will most likely be out sometime tomorrow. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I appreciate anything you can find out for me!

I'm interested in your memorial for Mary Burkhart (#151544949). I am trying to find information on my 3rd great grandmother by that name who probably died in Allegheny City (Pittsburgh area) in 1886. Do you have any more information on the Mary Burkhart that is buried in Christ Our Redeemer Catholic Cemetery? Where did you get the information that there was a Mary Burkhart buried there? Thanks for any help you can give!

Maria is my 2nd great grandmother and James is my 2nd great uncle.

I'm currently interested in finding more about the Bandone Family Members: Celestina, Giacomo, and Josephine that are buried in Kings County (Brooklyn), NY. I'm currently in the process of researching my Italian Family tree and believe these 3 to be relatives of our family.

He and his 2nd wife Nettie's daughter, Catherine, listed him as "Ike" on her marriage license application
I would imagine that Ike would be a nickname for him. Also, he is listed as Ignatius in the 1910 Census (with his 1st wife Ellen) and on his WWI Draft Registration Card. I didn't cut/paste the link for these two since I'm not sure if you have access to Ancestry.com.
Isaac may have been another nickname that he went by. He was from a town here in Cambria County called Nicktown which was settled by and still mostly Catholic. Dealing with Catholic records quite frequently, Isaac isn't really a catholic name, but Ignatius is.
If I had that as a first name, I'd probably go by a nickname, too. I see he doesn't have a photo of his headstone posted, so if it does have "Isaac" listed on it or on the local cemetery records, it is most assuredly his nickname.
Hope this helps!

Hi, I'm MVS 1st cousin 4th removed living a few miles from St. Matthews Reformed Church (name when ancestors founded and now renamed such recently). I didn't catch who you are.
I'm new to this Find-A-Grave thing and thought I was helping with some info I know first hand. I rechecked her tombstone this morning and see I mis-read her birthday it is "June 30, 1859".
Just what info are you seeking and how can I help?
