I enjoy helping people, photography and genealogy so visiting nearby cemeteries to provide photos is a natural fit and my pleasure.... besides it gives me some needed exercise!|
If you see a memorial I created that you want to manage please email me and I will gladly transfer it to you. Please include your Contributor ID# that appears beside your name in your profile.
If you want to use any of the photos that I have taken and posted feel free to do so...just drop me a line, I may also have a different view of the photo.
I have copies of the old Philos Cemetery burial books and maps and also I have access to St James' Episcopal Church records here in Westernport.
Information for many of the Fazenbaker memorials is from the book " The Fazenbaker Family of Western Maryland" by Walter L. Warnick 1991.
I reside in Westernport, Allegany Co, Maryland
I have permission of the Piedmont Herald Newspaper to use their printed obituaries. The Herald is closed and no longer in business.

John Thanks go much for the newspaper articles on my grandparents Alfred & Jospehine Diaz,
Hi John I am giving you all the Fazenbaker's that I have.
|Barbara Chesley||Chisholm vs Chrisholm|
Hi John, while doing a project for the Garrett Co. Historical Society on Civil War participants, I discovered that there were two Peter Alexander Chisholm's in Garrett County. One is Memorial #9413577, Peter A. Chisholm, b. 1844, died Jan 3, 1910 who was in the Union Army and Memorial #119464148, listed as Peter Alexander Chrisholm, b. 1841, d. Jan. 29 1910 who was in the Confederate Army. The photo that you have put of the grave marker for Memorial #9413577 belongs on the Memorial for #11946418. I am not sure why the "r" was added to the second Peter Alexander, since his Obit at the Ruth Enlow is headed that way for the write up in the Republican does not have the "r" in his last name.

|Lynda Cantwell Hephner||Thank You From the Bottom of My Heart|
There's no words to convey my eternal thankfulness. After I finished crying while looking at the picture, I wondered why I was so emotional. I was only 9 when Margaret died and I really didn't know her. After composing myself I realized that I feel as if you "gave me back my grandmother." I am so appreciative of your time and skills. Who knew you could bend time and help heal a little girls heart? ! Thank you, thank you, thank you! !
