Member of Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Inc. (CSG), Concord Historical Society (VT), and Lyndon Historical Society (VT). Born in Mass., Connecticut resident and married since 1972 with 2 teenage sons. I've been avidly researching since Feb. 1989, working on my maternal and paternal lines, as well as my husband's maternal and paternal lines. Discovering burial places of our relatives & friends had always been difficult - until this wonderful website was created. Countless volunteers are quickly adding information & photos, which immensely increases our chances of finding them.|

|Roberta Moody||Theresa Cassaw request|
As you will note by her memorial, we were out in the heat and rain today with our lengthy photo list for the day and our memorial for Theresa was on the list - so when we came back to upload I saw your request. That's how it happened so fast. Are you related...we usually do headstone photos of memorials we create much faster but it has been in the very high 90s here with rain rain...slows things down a bit.

Raymond J. King is actually located in the St. Josephs Cemetery Section 2 (New) on Childs Road Malone NY not St. Josephs (Old) on Ft. Covington St. Malone NY.

I took a few pictures for you at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Bombay NY. I live very close to the cemetery so if need any more photo's from there please let me know. I am more than happy to help as I have a lot of family in that cemetery also.

You're very welcome! :)
|Joel Shore||Re: Photo request for Joel Roberts (1839) at Mt Hope|
I've been researching this photo request. Unfortunately, the memorial was created from an entry in the Mt Hope Interment Records ( https://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00000286.pdf ) that gives no burial location...and I have tried searching for him in a survey of surviving legible markers at the cemetery ( http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-sec-r.htm ) but have not found him.
DO you have any more information on the person you are looking for that would help?
|Deb B||Silvy Sigels Barbour and Ruby Flovilla Slayton Barbour|
I see that you have the graves of William Barbour and his wife as well as two other Barbours. I've contacted the Stowe Town Clerk, trying to find Silvy and Ruby's graves but they do not have any record of them being buried there although Silvy owns half of Section 1-A lot 3. There is no headstone, which doesn't mean anything of course if the family couldn't afford one. I would have assumed that he and Ruby would have been buried there. Do you know of any other means or way that we could find out besides the town clerk's office if they are?
