Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am researching the Boutwell/Sullivan family lines.

My mother Dorothy Jean Sullivan Boutwell passed away in October 2008 and I have picked up the torch to continue the research into the family history.

Thank You,
James Boutwell

Julius Boutwell photo
Julius lies directly behind the flat tombstone (Sara Hester Johnson) in the first photo, looking west. The second photo shows the same area looking north.

FYI, the Annex Pay Grave section provided cheap burial sites for the indigent and unclaimed bodies. Adults were buried in columns on the north side and infants in columns on the south side. Less than 5% of the burials have a marker.

Re: Nellie Boutwell
Hi I noticed your request and wanted to let you know that I have just started working on photographing all of Wilder Cemetery. If her stone can be found I will add the pics for you. Please be patient as this is a project that may take several weeks (or longer if mother nature does not cooperate)as the entire Cemetery is in bad shape! Today I unearthed and cleaned as best as I could 6 stones that were almost completely buried in the ground. (Yes I have permission to try to restore whatever I can). I hope that I will find the one you are looking for in good condition.

Boutwells in Summer Street - Lancaster, NH
Hi James,
I wanted to let you know that I put new pics on William, Martha (Jordan), and Frances Boutwell in Summer Street Cemetery because the last ones I had posted had rain drops on them. We also pulled William's broken stone out from behind Martha's and got a better pic of it. While I was doing these I discovered they had two young sons buried there with them that I had missed before when it was raining. Now all five of their children are accounted for.

As to your request for a pic of Lucy Jane's headstone there does not appear to be one in Summer Street, but there is a large gap the size of a grave between the boys and Frances's stone. I think Lucy may be there.

Their row of graves from right to left are: William, Martha, Frances, , Charles H, and William J.

Elsie Boutwell
Although the cemetery is overgrown and is marked with Pauper's graves (numbered) I did find some additional information regarding Elsie. She was 33 when she died of TB and was subsequently buried in the Pauper's cemetery. A fire at the Tewksbury State Hospital destroyed many of the records linking a name of the deceased to a numbered grave marker. Elsie's parents are listed as Abraham & Sophia of Scotland. Elsie the records say was born at sea. Interesting yes? She died 3/11/1895 and her occupation is listed as a seamstress.
I hope this adds valuable information to your search.

Marjore Raasch photo request
I saw your photo request today and wondered if you know for sure that Marjorie is buried at Highland Memorial Park? The obituary states that she is at Memorial Gardens in New Berlin Wi. I am not sure where that is and her service was in Michigan so before I contact the cemetery office, I thought I would ask.

new photos
Two weeks ago I promised to return to Elmwood Cemetery and take new photos of the gravestones of Helen Boutwell Bridges and Linder Boutwell Hannon. My initial photos were taken shortly after a lot of rain had fallen and the gravestones were still damp. Today I took and posted new photos showing the dry gravestones. Looks much better.

James, you really should take a look at this memorial, this is not reasonably the grave of Jane Boutwell, daughter of Deloney Boutwell and Mary Floewing; their daughter was married to Thomas J. Griggers.
Find A Grave 32089282 is for the grave of Jane Deloach, wife of Daniel Terry Driggars also buried in the Moutain Home Cemetery, as is their eldest son, John Sanford Driggars and his wife.
Jane’s name should be corrected and the erroneous bio removed.

Jane Boutwell Driggars
The Alabama marriage record for Daniel Terry Driggars shows that he married Jane Deloach on 15 Dec 1857. The memorial for Jane Driggars (32089283) has her linked to Daniel Terry Driggars, but the bio section on the memorial says she married Thomas Driggars in 1858. Can you clarify which spouse info is correct? Thanks!

Jane Boutwell Driggars
I and other researchers have been under the impression that Jane's last name was Deloach, although I am unable to find any sources to back that up. I really want my tree to be correct, so do you have sources to confirm that she was in fact Jane Boutwell? Thank you in advance.
