Bio

I'm a Yankee transplanted to South to pick up the pieces of a life gone awry. After spending a great deal of my life in school studying history and working in the museum field, I have now settled on computers as a new outlet for my interest in history. My family's history can be traced back to at least the Norman Invasion of England and I (with my sister) descend from kings of the Scottish Celts, Irish Celts and Norman Scots, which I have known for as long as I can remember -- my history always being a part of my present. Because I grew up going to cemeteries with my parents to visit the graves of relatives, I have a long-standing affinity for burial places, whether a dolmen in Ireland or a weed filled forgotten family plot. My idea of relaxing when my mind is in turmoil is to go clean the graves of those long gone and forgotten, just to let them know that someone thought about them. My blog will be a place where I can showcase my interest in death art via photographic journeys through cemeteries and finding noted articles of interest. Feel free to contact me if you are interested in having me perform any research or photograph a grave in my area for your genealogy.
