RE: John W. Clugston
Hi Rusty,

I'm actually not writing about Alexander Clugston although you were planning on getting back to me.

I am writing to let you know that the Will attributed to John W. Clugston (1808 - 1894) actually belongs to his father, Alexander Clogston/Clugston. Also,John was the only sibling who spelled his name with a "u" - all others spelled it Clogston. Since this Will appears on the Alexander Clogston site, please either delete it or add "Mentioned in his father's Will"

Will Probate (Will made August 7, 1830) August 11 1834, Vol C., P.318 (Box 20, Princetown Township)- Farm and all stock to Alexander; except 1 horse to John. $50 to each daughter. Alexander and John to provide home for widow Margaret either with them or separately if she wished. Witnesses to Will: Margaret Allen, William Allen (parents of Alexander's wife, Jennett) and James Frost. Objection to validity of will filed August 11, 1834 - no name as to who objected. Will changed to: Farm to be divided equally between John and Alexander, All personal estate to Alexander. Names in Will: sons: Alexander, Samuel, John; Daughters: Jennett, Eliza, Margaret, Nancy.

Alexander Clugston
My maiden name is Darcy Clogston and I am a direct descendant of Alexander Clogston - same as your Find-A-Grave ancestor. I am curious as to how you arrived at Clugston and am thinking that perhaps a descendant changed the spelling. Many Clogston/Clugstons did so. I have a genealogy from 1790 in Princetown, Schenectady, NY. Please send me the contact person. I am hoping that I can share some information. Very excited to see this spelling! We may be chasing the same ancestors.

i just sent an email to edit@findagrave for four of the Scheels to merge or delete "dawns" memorial..

just remember in the future, use the "edit" tab first. If the creator does not correct it, findagrave will automatically in about 3 weeks.

if not, an email to edit@findagrave.com will help ....

Hi Rusty,

Hope your spring is looking up weather wise. We have it a lot easier in North Carolina. Have you had a chance to dig out from the snow and ice and check out the source for the list of Daniel O'Brien's children? I am interested in all things Daniel O'Brien but I also have a cousin who is very persistent! Hope you can help me out here.

Rusty,
Back in 2013, you told me that you had a brother buried @ Union Cemetery in Milwaukee. Is this him?

Thanks, Rusty. I look forward to all that you can share with me. Daniel is my 5th great-grendfather through his daughter, Fanny. Hope you have some relief soon from the snow, ice, wind and cold.

Hi, Could you tell me where you found the list of Daniel's children with Elenor Lemar O'Brien (and with Eleanor Gay O'Brien) ? I'm using it for his daughter Fanny or Frances and need a source. Thanks for photos on the O'Brien's Find A Grave's. Lina
