I'm David, and one of my many hobbies involves genealogy and family history, which I have pursued more than 30 years. I have watched Find A Grave's growth over the last several years and have found it to be an important and very useful resource. Hence, I have elected to become a more active participant, as time permits. As a volunteer, my prime interest is in assisting other genealogists and family historians in obtaining photographs of the graves of their kin.|

Thanks for the photos of the gravesite of Captain Allyn Cole USN and his wife Helen Hiserman Cole. In 1942 Allyn Cole was part of the Navy team in Hawaii that broke the Japanese naval code which led to the American victory at the Battle of Midway.

I do not remember if I ever thanked you for taking a picture of their stone, but if not thank you very much. I cannot thank you enough as I probably will never get to Hawaii. Thank you one again and may God bless you always.

They were both born in Hawaii too but it wasn't part of the USA then so I didn't know how to enter that for their birth place.
|Jess E. Bromley||Bromley edits|
I have made a number of edit requests for the Bromley family the information for which came from the book Bromley Genealogy by Viola Bromley copyright 1911.
Thank you very much

It's rather difficult to tell since the stones don't match, so I'm hoping you might be able to tell me if George S & Elizabeth Noble Harris were man and wife. It appears their gravesites are adjacent.
It also appears that most of their children are also buried there at Oahu Cemetery, and I would being able to link the family.
