Several years ago my Father asked me to find out as much about his family as I could as his Dad had not been around much when he was younger and his parents eventually divorced. That simple request sent me on my journey that now includes my husband and my children and takes me to Canada, Europe, and the Hawaiian Islands with the long history of the Kohala Coast. The importance of doing family research was strongly reenforced with the sudden passing of my 25 year-old daughter, Sara, in 2010. Now my husband and I jointly take pictures for other families in hopes of putting their families together, if only years later.|

Thank you for creating the memorial for my grandfather and grandmother and some of their children at Evergreen Cemetery in Orwell.

By chance do you have a pic for James Durgee's stone at Evergreen Cemetery? If so could you email me a copy?
|Paula Hanna||Find A Grave Memorial# 28351200 (Solomon Finster )|
Do you have ANY idea who Solomon Finster's parents were? I am thinking my George H. Finster (Find A Grave Memorial# 160520794) who married Jeraldine Wells MIGHT be his brother. I believe George was born in Herkimer County, NY about 1819. I know he spent several years in Oswego County and believe it was there he met and married Jeraldine. George and his wife were in Shiloh, Iowa by 1880 and end up in Hardin County (buried in same cemetery as Solomon's son Henry John Finster and his family). That is why I think there might be some family link between them. My theory is that Solomon and George were brothers and Henry was George's nephew. But I would certainly like to be able to prove that. Any info. you can provide would be appreciated.
|Nicole Kleinschmidt ||Earl Kleinschmidt|
I was wondering where you find the information regarding Earl Kleinschmidt. I'm his great grand daughter and our family is trying to learn more about our ancestry. So far we haven't had much luck finding information out about him, except for this website
|Charlene Cole||Almeda Stearns Pratt|
Almeda Stearns Pratt is buried in Pekin Hill Cemetery, Orwell, N.Y. NOT Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell, N.Y.. You must change the name of the Cemetery to made the information CORRECT.

|CG||Bader Family Cemetery|
Hello. If I am reading the info correctly, you have posted some photos of grave markers in the "Bader Family Cemetery" (Hawaii County). Can you tell me the location of the cemetery where your photos were taken? There are Find A Grave requests for additional photos but I cannot find any reference online for the address of the cemetery. Thanks.

Thanks so much for this posting on Catherine Curry Balch. She is the daughter of Phebe Steenbergh Curry. I am seeking information on Phebe as she is my g-g-grandfather's sister. (John B. Steenbergh)
Would you possibly know who Phebe's parents are?
I've been searching for many years. :)
Any help would be appreciated.
