I'm David, and one of my many hobbies involves genealogy and family history, which I have pursued more than 30 years. I have watched Find A Grave's growth over the last several years and have found it to be an important and very useful resource. Hence, I have elected to become a more active participant, as time permits. As a volunteer, my prime interest is in assisting other genealogists and family historians in obtaining photographs of the graves of their kin.|

David, Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph their grave. They contributed much to early Hawaii though they were both born in Scotland. They had no children, so much of their work seems to have been lost over time. Daniel died in Livermore while visiting his nephew and his brother's widow. We had thought that he was buried in Livermore because she had a receipt for a plot purchased around the time of his death.

David, many thanks for your time and effort in fulfilling my photo requests. I sincerely appreciate the time you take out of your day to do an act of kindness for a stranger. The extended family of Lydia and Herbert Sisk thank you as well. I hope I have the opportunity to repay your kindness someday. Best wishes, Mike

My husbands adopted daughter is this young baby. I am so glad to have her grave site I knew where she was buried but I did not have a picture of the stone and such. I want to thank you so very much.

Thank you so much for updating the Weir/Putnam/Keech family buried at Oahu Cemetery. You've done an excellent job researching their history. Isabella Weir Keech's history isn't quite so happy from the story told by census records. She and Alvin Welty Keech (m. 22 June 1889 in Hawaii) had two sons: Alvin Danglada Keech (b.1890) and Kelvin Kirkwood Keech (1895-1977). I'm making the assumption that the California death index record for Alvin W. Keech who passed away on 17 July 1928 at Alameda County, California is for her husband and that it might be his gravestone at the Chapel of the Chimes Memorial Park in Hayward, California.
Good god, Admin merged his USS Arizona Memorial 7884035 with Honolulu Memorial....could you move your photo from 7884035 to 115524649?
