I'm David, and one of my many hobbies involves genealogy and family history, which I have pursued more than 30 years. I have watched Find A Grave's growth over the last several years and have found it to be an important and very useful resource. Hence, I have elected to become a more active participant, as time permits. As a volunteer, my prime interest is in assisting other genealogists and family historians in obtaining photographs of the graves of their kin.|

Mahalo for posting a picture of my uncle's head stone. I was 2 when he died on Dec. 7, 1941 at Hickam AFB. He was the master plumber there, and lived on the base. During the attack, he was helping to carry a wounded airman on a stretcher when a Japanese plane strafed them. I never knew where he was buried but, thanks to you, will pay my respects at Oahu Cemetery the next time I visit Honolulu.

Thank you for taking the time to try to locate the marker for Irma Agard. It is disappointing that the marker is not transcribed. But I do appreciate you getting back to me and letting me know the news.

Dear Mr. David Blewster Knight
On behalf of our family, please accept our most profound gratitude for posting the photograph of our beloved uncle and brother Alejandro - memorial stone.
It was very comforting to my mother and my aunts.

Thank you SO much for taking the time and effort to go take the photo of Duane Wilson's gravestone for me. This is my 98 year old father-in-law's brother-in-law. We live in Florida so he obviously would not be able to get to Hawaii to visit. This will mean so much to him and the entire family.
I've taken a few photos as well for findagrave to pay it forward.
