John Akers
Dear Mr. Zaza,

My name is John Akers and I have just registered on "Find a Grave" today after finding a memorial to our dear friend, Bradford Merry Arrington. He was a Special Services Director in Saigon with The Command Military Touring Show in which I was a participant in 1969. I have completed a website called which will showcase all of the groups that participated in The Command Military Touring Shows. I will also host memorial pages for each group member that have passed away. There is a documentary that we hope will be produced soon called "Theatre Vietnam: Stages of Healing" which was created by Professor Rick Holen. It will showcase the CMTS groups and contains interviews with several group members and Brad Arrington (1999). We are hoping that through the website and the Facebook page ( we will generate renewed interest in getting the documentary published on TV.
I was writing to you to ask your permission to be able to re-print your very well-written memorial to Brad Arrington on our website. I will certainly recognize you and this website within the article.
Also, if you know of any contact information about Brad's friends, etc. I would appreciate being able to contact them myself. I would hope that we can get many people to write about him and keep his name alive and out there. He was a very well loved and respected man and I believe I speak for all the members of CMTS that we appreciate the posting on this site of our dear and beloved friend. You are welcome to reach me at the email addy shown below.

RE: Thank You -- Zaza Graves
You are quite welcome!

The grave was located near some of my fiance's relatives so it was easy to find. I see you mentioned Shaver's in your profile. There are many of them in the Birchwood Section of Laurel Grove. I don't know if they are your relatives or not, but I saw them there while searching that section today.

Enjoy your genealogy adventure!

Hi Bob,
You're welcome. Glad I could help. Do you want me to transfer the memorial of Clara to you?
