Bio

I was born in Griffin, Georgia. Moved to Land'O'Lakes, Florida in 1969, with my parents and three sisters, when I was 11. I moved from Wesley Chapel, Fl. to Live Oak, Fl. in 2004 after the last of my three children left the nest. I have driven a bus for Suwannee Valley Transit for 7 years. Many times on my journeys I noticed old cemetaries and often thought about exploring them. This weekend I came across Find A Grave, and thought wow, this is just what I have been wanting to do for a long time. What a stress reliever getting out and exploring old graves, and wondering about the lives of the people resting there. Looking forward to meeting new friends with the same interests here. I'm going to like this very much! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Update, fast forward 10 years. I have been with SVTA for 17 years now. A lot has happened in the past 10 years. I lost my husband 6 years ago. I've become a grandmother three more times, seven total. And a great-grandmother twice so far. I'm looking forward to get back into finding graves to fulfill requests in my area. I will be retiring soon, and other than crafting and gardening this would be great to fill the empty spaces, and keep me busy. I have noticed that five or more of the memorials, that I have created have vanished from my view and most others I created are now managed by people I dont know. I dont understand.
