German Baker photo request
Thank you for trying to find the Cole Cemetery. I may have gotten those directions from Find A Grave. Since you live near the area and cannot locate it, I can only assume them to be inaccurate or inconclusive.

I did a further search of this man and found him to be a Methodist minister in the area. Based on USGS topographical maps, I found a Baker's Chapel United Methodist Church in the area near GPS coordinates 34.49.919N / 89.54.639W.
Vehicle directions seem to be:
Byhalia Road (hwy 304) turning south on Malone Road South. Malone Road South makes a curve to the left becoming Johnston Road. Johnston Road makes another curve back to the right. The church/cemetery should be on the right approx. 1000 ft south of this 2nd curve almost directly across from side road Fulton Road.

The next time you're in this area and have some time, would you mind to check this out? Since you live in the area, I may have provided directions that take you far out of the way but I tried to provide enough information that you may be able to use them, coming from another direction, and still find it. Thanks so much for your efforts.

btw: Josiah Cobb also appears to be buried in this cemetery based on this link: http://msgw.org/desoto/cem/bakerfam.html

Thank you
for attempting to find Josiah Cobb's grave and the Cole Cem. Would it be possible to call the county clerk's or assessors office and ask them where it is located? I tried google earth but it didn't show so I'm guessing it is in the woods somewhere... thanks for any help at all.
