The best I can do is direct you to the online copy of the Daughter of the American Revolution (the Society) dated January 1, 1910. Pearl's entry in located in Volume 29 p. 139. The whole volume can be downloaded to review in its entirety. It is free to do so...at no cost. I simply scrolled to p. 139. It is protected information and I could not figure out a way to email it to you. In itself it is a rather old and interesting document.
I used a google search of: John C. Holmes and Pearl Lewis Holmes and Macon GA. This brought up the link. This is known as a Boolean search and must be typed in just as I've shown.

My best offer of proof is the DAR Lineage Book, Volume 29, page 139, for Pearl Louise Lewis Holmes b. 1871, the youngest child and third daughter of Lavinia and John Lewis. I am more interested in simply expanding a current relative's knowledge, than correcting the cemetery obit. Thank you for all you and other caring souls do to preserve and care for monuments and sites such as these!

Lavinia and John Lewis were also my great great grandparents. Their daughter, Pearl, was my grandmother's mother. My grandmother was Fleta Holmes Johnson Shropshire. Her son was my dad -- Holmes Lewis Johnson.
Thank you for maintaining their gravesite!

Are you Marsha McCrary of Worth County?

Elijah Lewis is a famous memorial. It belongs to Find a Grave. There are many restrictions on the photos and information that can be put there.
If you go to the discussions forums, there is a section for Famous Memorials. You can post there with any family links you want added, but the bio does not include family info.
|Georgia Girl||John Felton Lewis, Sr.|
Perhaps is mother's "maiden name" was Felton and the cemetery was named for the Felton family.
