Bio Photo Hi! (I update memorials per requests once a week)
I am so grateful for the Find A Grave research and photos already available.
I hope to make it easier for others like myself who are separated by distance from those they need information on. In itself this act brings great comfort to many. Thank you to all those who contribute.

No need to ask permission to copy my FAG headstone photos. Go ahead and copy the headstone photos you need. Please let me know if I need to make a correction.

I just ask that you please be patient if you want to add something to one of my ancestors. I will need time to check it out first which may include a trip to the cemetery and home town archives.

My family names that I research are: Ross, Baskett, Bridges, Hayward, Wilson. Pittman, Brooks,Ryan, Wallis,Wallace, Beesley, Lamb, Knight. 4 my kids:Sutton, Protzman, Blose, Sybert, Rumbaugh. 4 my cousins: Angel, Baumgardner, Poe, Smallwood

After DNA testing with Ancestry.com I most often connect with these family names: Hayward/Howard, Ross, White, Boyd, Davis, Williams, Jones, Wilson, and Smith.

Traci's Mom
Token you left for Traci Fields

Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.

I had set a goal of 5,000 flowers/tokens for Traci by her birthday on November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and many other findagravers, Traci has received 6,198 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and me extremely happy.

I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.

John Gordon
Sherry, Thank you for the transfer. I will do my best to clear up all of this mystery -- For now I have left the photo of the tombstone on with an explanation of why it is the wrong one and have changed the information. Also asked if anyone knows where Englevale Cemetery is. If I don't have an answer soon I will create a cemetery by that name so that John has a home.
Again, thank you.
Kathryn

When Susan Dora Raines Gordon died the stone for both of them was evidently set in the graveyard. But John, who remarried - and then left for some reason to be with his children - died in LA and the children buried him there instead of with their mother.
I would love to work with this if you want to transfer. I am finding records of a town by that name in CA but the name of the town was changed. Now to find the cemetery if it is even on the Find A Grave site.

John's actual death date was 19 April 1925. I have not been able to find the cemetery listed on Find A Grave - don't know if the name of it has been changed, if this is the name of the town it is in, or if it just isn't listed. It is given in Nell Vina Ryan Gordon's obituary as the Englevale Cemetery.

John H Gordon died in April of 1925 in Los Angeles where he had gone 6 years earlier. Several of his children lived there. He was buried there 21 April, 1925 as reported in Nell Ryan Gordon's obituary. Information from Steve Murdick. He found obit in Newspaper Archives.
