Bio and Links
Bio Photo like everyone else, I do make mistakes. i think our loved ones deserve the respect we can give them through find-A-grave. sponsor a loved one. i will gladly transfer memorials to family members who want to build their memorials as long as they are not related to me. if I have added a photo to a memorial of yours you wish me to remove please let me know along with the f.a.g memorial number. Please ask before using one of my cemetery photo,s. I have done the leg work the least others can do is ask. I sometimes send out obituaries to a memorial, this is to help connect deceased family members. I want to thank everyone that has help link family members to their memorials. thank you one and all.

Mendel Cates
Mike...Did you know Mendel and his wife Norma?? If so, was Norma a Burns?? I am thinking she might have been the daughter of Leonard and Rettie McIntosh Burns. I'm trying to put all that family together. Apparently, they moved from Perry Country to Madison County and one daughter, Dorothy, ended up in Lebanon, Ohio. I've found Ben, Philmore, Floyd, Fannie, Dorothy, and maybe Dempsey. They had a daughter Norma Lee Burns Cates. Thinking this might be her.

Photo Fulfillment

Thanks so much for posting the headstone photo for James Travis Russell from the Winchester Cemetery. Sorry it has taken me so long to send my thanks - lots going on this summer.

Are you a descendant of James Shelton and Martha Spradley? My great grandfather was their son.

Thanks again,

Kenneth Michael Wilson #125142393
Mr. Shelton, Thank you for all you do on Find A Grave. Kenneth Michael Wilson is not in this cemetery at Verne. This cemetery is off Highway 904 which is off 92E. The obituary says he is buried at Woodbine.

RE: your mother
That would be nice if someone were to do that. But, in this case I don't see it happening. In Mom's bio, I had that she was my mother. Findagrave took the photo I uploaded of her, stuck it with a copied obituary a stranger had put up, then deleted my, the actual family member's memorial. I never got the chance to add important info to her bio. Like when she divorced our dad, who our dad was....etc. That was just heartless.

Linda McDaniel Coble
Sarah Alice Waddle Owens.

The Kentucky Death Records show date of death as 22 March 1925. You have May and I don't know if you checked cemetery records or the stone has worn so much it was not possible to read it clearly. The information is on Ancestry under: Kentucky, Death Records, 1852-1963.

Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave. Linda

Hi Mike,

I was asked by someone who emailed me on your behalf to turn my earlier profile over to you, but I would like to keep him with his family, as he was the father of my cousins and the husband to my aunt. Thank you for setting up his parents though. I did not have them connected and was actually going to create profiles for them if they weren't made already.

I have corrected the cemetery on my profile and appreciate your letting me know it was incorrect. I'm pretty sure his daughter told me she thought it was Barbourville. Live and learn.

I appreciate your cleaning markers and taking photos. I do that as well, mostly civil war soldiers. I don't mind folks using those photos. I'm glad they're reunited. Again thanks for your work.

Thanks so much.
