You are very welcome. My father was also a pilot with the 22nd Bomb Squadron, he more than likely knew Mr. McCook.

Thanks Robert, and in the meantime perhaps someone else who lives even closer might help out.

I noticed that you have taken some photos at the Springhill Cem in Coushatta, LA. I was hoping you could help me by taking a photo of a Vietnam casuality. Wesley O Grant # 86286420. My request has been on since 2012. Any help you can offer would be very appreciated.

You are very welcome. I'm always glad to hear that my posting assisted someone to find the burial of a family member.

You probably sent an edit. That usually means someone is really interested in a certain memorial.
I try to "get rid" of any non-family memorials to someone who'll take good care of them and is YOUNGER than I am.

I changed it. I am not related, but thank you for the offer.

|Misssmarty||RE: I D Hesser|
I am not a Hesser descendant but my husband, children, and grandchildren are. I recently acquired my mother-in-laws genealogy notes and materials on the Hesser family and have been organizing and consolidating this information. Her descent is through Andrew Hesser and Eleanor Shaw and their son Andrew Hesser m. Emeline McCune and their daughter Mary Louisa Hesser m. Oscar Simon Martin. I have been using the documented research she had to connect the Hesser families together on F-A-G so that future researchers will have some information to begin their own search using birth and death locations, spousal, parent-child,and sibling relationships, F-A-G is one of the few sites left where others can gather family data without having to pay money to do so.
|morpridg||Dawson Cemetery question|
I was wondering if you knew why there were so many "unknown" markers in the Dawson Cemetery in Delta County, Texas. It was unusual to find so many in a concentrated area. I haven't been able to find anything about it.
Some of our Dawson family is there and we were wondering what happened.
