Ritters on Willem and Caroline Buschmann's monument
problem of their identity partially solved- one of Willem (William) Buschmann's sisters, Wilhelmina Buschmann, and her husband Dietrich Quade, had a son Peter Quade who married Ida Brockmiller. Peter and Ida had a daughter Amanda Quade who married Elmer John Ritter and they had two sons Howward and Robert. I would thus assume either Howard or Robert is the father of Sandra E. and Susan E. Ritter.

Lemke-Schwensow Requests
David,

I added the pictures of Arthur and Frank Lemke markers to their Memorials. The other graves in that section were unmarked or the markers are completely buried. I did find the markers for Fred and Lucille Schwensow there were no dates only the names. The markers were side by side.

Willhelm "Willem" Buschmann
I agree there is probably some sort of Ritter connection but those twin girls were born in 1952- over 100 years after Wilhelm and Caroline. It's OK to leave the Ritter photo but would you please also add your photo of the Buschmann side of the marker to Wilhelm. Would be much appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Kaubs
Thanks David. I just think the cylinder grave stones are sooo unusual and I have never seen them before. I have seen it where people leave coins and stones mostly around graves..by the way..I asked two German friends in town from Germany what the words might mean if anything to them and the shape of the grave stones too but they had no idea...was wondering why I thought iy might be a 'German 'thing and I told them because they were both from Germany and transplanted to Ill and seemed to be buried in maybe a German part of the cemetery (?) and that because of that and because I had not heard of those words nor had I ever seen cylinder shaped stones I thought maybe it was a German thing...Guess not LOL :)
