I am researching my ancestors with surnames Davidson, Hardin, Mabary, Watson, Farnsworth, McBurney, Prine, Hamilton, Adams, Hines, Belieu, Chamberlain, and of course, many many more. I live in Seattle, WA.|
I am happy to do research in my area, and to take photos of graves that are near me or near where I will be travelling. It's the least I can do, since I'll be requesting the same of others. Feel free to contact me for whatever reason.

Just want to point out that Sarah Ada and her twin sister Nancy Ida were born in Olalla, Douglas Co., not Molalla in Clackamas county. Olalla is a dot on the map a mile or so south of Tenmile.

Thanks very much for clarifying this! I'm not related, but I was working on a genealogical project and looking for a Piper family member when your memorial came up.
Thanks for all that you do and for helping so many others!
|Shirley Bradley||Re: Virgil Burd 99089321|
Hi Dave - I tried to request a photo of the headstone for this memorial and received the following info from the volunteer: "Cemetery office has no record of this person. Death Certificate lists Virgil is buried at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Blanche Hays Burd is buried next to her parents, Rea and James Hays."
What information do you have that he is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give me on this memorial.

I got the pics per your request today for Sarah Powers' grave. She has no gravestone. I put picture captions on the pics I added to her page if you care to click on those pics to see that.
She is right near this cedar tree that is leaning so far over I don't know why it does not fall over or how it got that way? It appears to be in there solid as a rock though.

I see you put in a request for pics for Sarah Powers' grave. Just so you will know. I took pictures of every gravestone in that section of the cemetery to make sure everyone with gravestones was added to Find A Grave. There was no gravestone for a Sarah Powers.
I will go get pics of the area and check and make sure someone did not spell her name wrong on Find A Grave or some such thing. I will poke the ground to make sure she does not have a gravestone that got all covered over with dirt from our lovely rain, rain, rain winters here in the wonderful N.W. It won't be long before I go up there again. This week though I am dealing with a few variables that I do not know how they are going to "play out".
|Titania||Eliza vs. Lyde|
I would bet that as a young toddler she said "Lyde" instead of Eliza, and that became her name for life.
How sweet that her long-lost given name was on her niche plate! :)

You're welcome. Since you provided the plot information, they were the easiest request I've ever filled!

Dave, thank you for the offer to transfer Donald to me, but I think not. I actually am also a distant cousin. Thanks, Louise

Thank you for connecting Henry to his mother.
Re: your Kincaid ancestor the only similar set I could find on World Connect was one link:
Would love to know more about Samuelís parents, spouse, etc. and maybe connect him to others.
My Kincaid family stayed in Kentucky & Tennessee but their close cousin led a wagon train thru the Natchez Pass in Washington & helped found Sumner, WA - where strangely I found myself working for several years.
Just tonight finished write-up of Glasgow KY Highland Games to submit clan tent report for our International newsletter. Decent weather and a good many visitors to our tent. In case you donít have it, hereís a link to our international website, all very official & under the auspices of Madam Heather Kincaid of Kincaid, Chief. http://www.clankincaid.org/
Thanks again for help with Henry.
Yours ay, Ann
