Bio and Links
Bio Photo I find this to be a very interesting hobby/project. I've always visited and explored cemeteries. As a FAG volunteer I now feel that I do so with a mission.
I feel that documenting and preserving cemeteries is very important for genealogical, historical and cultural reasons. I do take this seriously. I strive to make sure that anything I add here is accurate. (If I add a grave, I have seen the grave or have received the information from an impeccable source.) Corrections, additions and suggestions are welcome. I am willing to make transfers for family members in accordance with FAG policies.
Incidentally, I'm the short one in my profile photo.

RE: Thanks for the photos
I based the DOB from the information in the 1900 Federal Census, which is actually a better source as it was closer to the day it happened and maybe given by his mother, than someone who wasn't there providing information for a death certificate.

Find A Grave Guidelines state to put what is on the marker so I did.

Thanks for the photos
Thank you for taking the photo of Joe Warren's grave and posting it. I love that you did the wide angle showing both him and his wife's grave.

Would you be so kind as to post that one on her memorial too? Thanks.

Byrd Clan out of Byrd Cemetery
I do want to thank you for all the lovely photos of this Byrd family. I was just there on thursday taking all the same photos that you took plus some of the others. Yours are better so I left those alone. I was pleasantly surprised though when I went to add the photos because you had saved me all that work! Thank you so much! I love doing this as well as you do and yes, I am kin to this Byrd family. I only wish this cemetery was better marked or at least had a sign! They are all important but for some reason the state of Alabama just doesn't think it is important enough. Thank God for people like US~!
