I started searching for Maiden names of Women in the Family. Years of off and on research made some exciting finds.
Names lost of Grandparents Mothers etc on the male side and also on the female side. Names never to be known unless uncovered.
The Find a Grave has been a wonderful resource. It is important people put a little word or two about what they know of an older relative. Otherwise it is lost forever.
Census reports have been helpful also.

No luck in finding Charles Sr.
I recently asked Anna (the Price book compiler) a similar question. I asked if she had found a connection between Charles and our MS lines - William, Robert, & Joseph, who came from SC. Anna replied that she has not found a connection to this point, but suspects I will "hear her screaming across several states" if and when she finds a common line. Anna is in Virginia; I am in Ohio. Keep your ears open. :b

Please forgive me; I am confused by the Penny Lewis to which you are referring. Can you please send me the link/memorial number to her page? I can't seen to locate a Penny Lewis in the list of memorials I have created.
