Thank you so much for the obit on Nellie Jean, I was in the hospital with my husband for the past week and couldn't get to a computer. She was my husband's Aunt by marriage. Thank you for all your hard work on find a grave.

George Otis Fail
Dear Gwen: Just wanted to drop a line regarding George Otis Fail memorial 107174634 in Waynesboro City Cemetery, Wayne Co., Ms.
George Otis Fail's dod is in question. First, there is no photo of his marker to confirm or dispute dates. His dob is supported by WWI Draft Registration Records. However, Otis had a brother, in particular, (i.e.) Leroy Watkins Fail who died in 1937 in Jefferson Co., Tx. (see memorial 76866647) Leroy's obit posted there states that Otis survived him and was living in Chicora at the time (1937). To add fuel to this fire...if you note that Otis is a Mason and was married to Ella Fail, it isnt likely the dod is correct as it would make the couple only 16 years old at the time of his death. ( I believe this is most likely a typo error made in the Strickland/Edwards Records of Wayne Co. cemetery book B. It is also odd, but not unheard of that he died on his birthday...just saying...It is likely he actually died in 1940 and the numbers were inverted, but I cannot know that for sure without photos of the headstone. I thought you might want to make a note on his memorial stating that the dod is in question. Thanks, Gwen! Hope you are doing well. sincerely, Cindy (aka hollidaywoman)

misspelled word
I left a flower for your son and misspelled the word peace. I did not know how to correct it. Would you please fix it for me?

Gwen, thank you so very much for the help you give to others thru Find a Grave. You are so generous with your time and talents. You have made it possible once again for me to visit cemeteries of my extended families graves. I can no longer physically visit due to age & health.
I am trying very hard to get as much info on Ancestry and Family Tree Maker as I can for my descendants and others to see their heritage.
I hope you will not mind my making copies of your photos for my family files. God bless you for helping others and may you be able to continue for many years.
