I started researching my family history about 8 years ago and have enjoyed every minute of it. My family is mainly from South Georgia: Swindle, Smith, Taylor, Jarrard, Crews, Cain, Nettles, Moore.|
My wife's family names are: Ainsworth, Farrar, Hufham, Baars, Nicholson, Reaves.
Please feel free to use any photos of gravestones/markers/tombstones that I have posted here.
Please let me know if you see any needed corrections or if you would like to transfer any records of your family members to you.

Thank you, Barry, for the photo of my great grandmother's headstone! Until I saw an article about her father, my great, great grandfather, Miles Price, in a recent EU Jacksonville publication, I never knew about Gravely Hill Cemetery. I always wondered why I couldn't find their graves in Riverside! It has been a delight, since returning home to Florida, to find out more about my ancestors thanks to people like you. Martha "Dandy" Price Johnson lived until 1951. My mother, Edith Johnson Eulenfeld, was a Riverside resident, graduate of Robert E. Lee High and knew her grandmother. Mom probably knew where Dandy's grave was but it isn't something I can recall discussing with my mother. Unfortunately, mom passed in 1988 and is now interred in Magnolia Cemetery in Orange Park. Dandy told my mother her parents were Miles Price and Georgia Winter Price. I even have a nephew named for Miles Price. Now, I'm looking for a birth record (possibly none exist if Dandy was born at home in 1870), a wedding announcement (wed to James Edward Johnson but if before or during 1901, any copies may have burned in the big fire), or an obituary for her written in 1951. I'll continue to search for more on the Price/Winter families and now search for J.E. Johnson's grave. He was from the Densmore (sp?) area of Jax. Thanks again, Barry. Your efforts are so appreciated!
