Bio Photo 2013
I was born and raised in the oil fields of the Texas Panhandle, and since we did not live near either my father's or mother's family, I grew up thinking we had a very small family. After I retired, I started tracing my father's family, which, except for his immediate family, I knew very little about. I thought this would be a simple project, however, it turned into a huge project that both my husband and I love pursuing, and it keeps growing.

Please feel free to use the photos I have posted on any Find A Grave memorial, BUT please give credit to my husband by showing "photo by Bill Lewis". We take them to share with others but ask that you be courteous about their use.

If you would like a memorial transferred, please ask, and if you are more closely related or it is someone that is not our family, I will be happy to transfer it.

Please DO NOT add death certificates to the memorials I have created. This is not the place for death certificates - it is a place to honor the lives of those who have gone before us.

Also, please DO NOT add obituaries, family history, or documents in the photo section. E-mail them to me and I will be happy to add them to the bio section.

RE: Eaker
Carolyn, you are very welcome. Paul drove 40 miles to photograph the cemetery in the summer of 2015 and has photographed a lot of cemeteries in that county because there are no volunteers there

Thanks!

Tina

related through Daniel Bayless
Hello ! Looks like we might be distant relatives. My 7th Gr-Grandfather was Daniel Bayless via his son Samuel Gilbert Bayless. I would love to connect sometime & compare notes.

Take care,

HI, I see where you are a "cousin" to Garel, so wonder if that means we could be too, as I also am 3rd cousin to him. His mother and my father were 1st cousins as their mothers were sisters :)
Blessings and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

RE: Barringtons
The 4 X 4's have nowhere to go but down with the weight and I have had to expose a lot of them in Oakwood. Last year, the ground keepers dug up a lot of these markers in Section A. Mostly babies, but also many adults. Trying to record as many as possible while exposed. BUT, detector does help greatly!!

Barringtons
Beatrice and Waneta may have had small cemetery markers that have sank down in the ground as this area constantly retains water. Had it not started to rain, I might have been able to use my metal detector to find them. Will try to check another time down there. Blessings!! Dee
